This is the first article at the Healing Trees for Men site.
As men we have not lost our dignity even though members of the church had no integrity when they abused us as children.
We stand up as powerful men with courage and speak out against the sexual crimes against children in an effort to bring a greater awareness about the despicable acts done by those that have taken advantage of those given to their care.
As men, we are not broken, we are whole, we are strong and not lesser men because fools violated our innocence. We rise up against them for the welfare of children is our concern.
We ask those that have done such acts to come forward and stop hiding behind the doors of the church and take responsibility for their cowardly acts.
We ask that those in the church that are innocent but are aware of violations against children to speak up against those that have commited such crimes.
We ask that the churches take responsibility for these crimes against children and to stop covering up this serious problem.
We will not back down but shall now tell the world of the acts of these criminals and the global community requests that they now be accountable.

I commend you on taking on this important cause. I am a woman who was abused, although not in the church–it was still by someone whom I should have been able to trust. I wish you all the best on your journey–your one voice can speak for many.

My heart goes out to you. In my life I have found abusers often hide behind the guise of religion. It’s part of what taught me to not have a religion.

Those people whom sexual abuse kids and forming themselves with religious act and wearing uniforms, are should be isolated from our society and community.Yet it’s difficult cause these peoples are soft spoken, well manner and have those trusted face. I believe it’s the inside heart of every people that counts not by outlook appearance.
